The National Commission charged with the implementation of Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) recommendations has reached a decisive moment which will be recorded in the history of Bahrain, it was declared last night.
Commission chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh pointed out that the findings of the commission are the product of sincere national efforts of all of its members over the past months in co-operation and co-ordination with the government's team charged with the implementation of the recommendations headed by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
These efforts are directed at serving the country and all its citizens with commitment to continued capitalisation on major achievements to consolidate national unity and ensure the building, development and lasting stability of the kingdom, as well as securing a better future for the generations to come, and realising the ambitions and aspirations of the people of Bahrain for further development and advancement.
The National Commission reviewed in its meeting last night the draft report to be submitted to His Majesty King Hamad at the completion of the commission's mandate.
The report documents all the actions and processes implemented by the commission over the past three months, and the results achieved. It also includes all documents related to the government's implementation of the BICI recommendations.
