A specialised chamber is to be set up in the civil courts to help speed up compensation claims by victims of last year's unrest.
"The National Commission called for the establishment of a specialised chamber in civil courts to hear and expedite compensation cases," said the Information Affairs Authority. "It acknowledged that amicable settlement is the best approach.
"It also proposed that the Supreme Judicial Council should oversee the progress in these cases for quick resolution."
The move is part of efforts to implement recommendations contained in the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry report.
His Majesty King Hamad earlier established the National Compensation Fund to be overseen by the Human Rights and Social Development Ministry.
Anyone subjected to material, moral or physical harm by the security forces or government workers would benefit. Government employees, security personnel and the relatives of people who suffered "collateral damage" during the unrest would also be eligible
