Human Rights and Social Development Minister and Acting Health Minister Dr. Fatima Al Balooshi yesterday received a delegation from British-based InterMediate Organisation led by Mark Muller.
She stressed the efforts of the government to achieve national reconciliation after the unrest and described Bahraini people as a unique model of national unity and social harmony.
She outlined the results compiled by the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI) and establishment of the Compensation Fund which will benefit people affected by the deplorable events.
A number of the National Commission members in charge of following up the recommendations of BICI also met Mr Muller and his delegation.
The visiting delegation gave a presentation about the programmes they conducted and their expertise in facilitating dialogue and reconciliation in a number of countries such as South Africa and Finland.
